From
the
Greeks
and
Romans
to
the
Founding
Fathers
of
the
United
States
of
America,
many
philosophers
predicted
that
republics
and
democracies
decline
to
despotism
and
tyranny
over
time
.
Perhaps
we
deluded
ourselves
into
believing
that
would
never
happen
to
“the
Second
Rome”
even
as
America's
fate
was
being
sealed
when
we
couldn’t
see
the
warning
signs
that
a
once
great
nation
was
in
trouble.
When
the
Digital
Age
arrived,
many
of
us
in
a
position
to
do
so
refused
to
learn
the
lessons of history.
As
the
Industrial
Revolution
appeared
to
be
one
of
the
most
important
developments
in
the
history
of
mankind,
a
few
made
note
of
the
fact
that
as
new
technologies
advanced,
their
leaders
seemed
to
have
out-run
morality
to
the
point
where
insatiable
greed
ignored
those
who
were
suffering
.
Changes
that
evolved
when
the
migration
from
the
agricultural
countryside
to
crowded
cities
caused
considerable
collateral
damage
to
the
multitudes
of
poor
and
less
fortunate
who
suffered for generations.
In
the
post-Industrial
Age,
leadership
in
the
Digital
Age
was
given
free
rein
to
develop
the
Internet
to
the
fullest
extent
possible.
However,
many
elites
did
not
realize
that
creating
digital
products
and
bringing
consumers
and
businesses
to
them
was
an
economic
model
that
eventually
became
unsustainable.
Now
the
richest
country
in
the
world
has
elected
an
oligarchy
leader
who
is
determined
to
make
other
oligarchies,
as
well
as
many
of
the
poorest
nations
in
the
global
economy, pay for more American wealth.
Rather
than
focus
on
the
problems
here
at
home
and
the
quality
of
life
faced
by
mainstream
America
and
below,
attention
has
been
diverted
toward
leadership
that
clearly
seems
to
be
indifferent,
ignorant,
arrogant,
and
blind
to
the
real
needs
of
the
American
people.
Quantity
of
wealth
became
much
more
important
than
the
quality
of
life
for
the
mainstream.
This
perspective
is an observation and not a criticism.
Some
victims
of
this
new
form
of
oligarchic
government
are
the
two
major
political
parties,
news
and
information
media,
and
the
knowledge
that
human
intelligence
is
far
more
important
than
the
hype
of
artificial
intelligence
.
The
New
American
Union
is
in
a
position
to
lead
New
Age
party
politics
into
a
new
form
of
government
using
logical
reasoning
and
common
sense
as
well
as
natural
critical
thinking
skills
and
imagination.
Please
join

new
future
based
on
the
moral
and
legal
tenets
of
a
New
Age
Constitution
that
guarantees
a
viable
and
sustainable
life
for
the
people,
of
the
people,
and
by
the
people.
In
order
to
progress,
change
for
the
better
is
mandatory,
but
no
one
of
importance
ever
said
it
was
going
to
be
easy.
