The Truthful American Times At the end of the Modern Age it would surprise no one that educating America’s young people seems to be in serious trouble. However, what may surprise everyone is that problems we face can be solved. All that is required is the will of the few to think for themselves so they can lead others. We also know that there is more to education than just classroom experience that is required by law, but also to acquire social and discipline skills as well as positive character development. It is our contention that Math-Masters can lead all levels of government into the future by effectively making the argument, with the help of social statistics, that no time should be wasted in a remodeling project not seen before for the sake of the entire nation. Years of classroom teaching experience in public and private schools have shown that students can be taught individually, cooperatively, and in larger groups as well as over the Internet as long as the social component of learning is not lost. After years of neglect young people are not being taught the seriousness of purpose concerning what should be a holistic approach to education on a mass scale. With the advent of The Digital Age there is little evidence to suggest that technology has been useful for young people to learn to think for themselves. Also, parental responsibility may be lacking at home to the point where children from broken homes becomes the rule rather than the exception, especially if it is a shared responsibility with absent parents or childcare outside the home. We also note that a college education that was once the key to a successful middle- class life has been oversold for decades to a point where education is seen as vocational avenue to the future when in fact that’s a serious misperception. Grade inflation, the rising cost of higher education, and the lack of strict standards for admission and completion of the course of study have become obstacles to a successful start in life for the middle class and below. We also note that competition for admission to the best colleges and universities has intensified as well at a time when high-technology employment has become much harder to find the end of the Modern Age in a post-industrial economy. Without change progress is not possible. Financial reform also includes education and banking reform as well. America is in decline but can be rescued from disaster by using some of the solving solutions which follow that need to be implemented as soon as reasonably possible. The status quo of our social models of behavior need serious reform and can begin with those with the courage to change.
